The Opportunity
Brightforge Talent is seeking a skilled ICT Project Coordinator / Business Analyst on behalf of our client, an organisation based in Melbourne involved in integrating various operational systems with modern data analytics platforms.
This full-time role requires good project coordination skills combined with business analysis capabilities. You will play a key part in supporting projects focused on system integration and data reporting, particularly involving Power BI. You will work closely with users to understand business requirements and coordinate tasks to help deliver functional IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Analysis: Assist in documenting business requirements, identifying process inefficiencies, and recommending practical solutions.
ICT Project Coordination: Coordinate tasks related to IT projects, including system integrations (e.g., connecting operational systems with Power BI). Help manage project schedules, track progress, and coordinate resources to ensure smooth execution of project activities.
Data Integration Support & Testing: Assist with managing data flows for reporting, potentially involving Power BI, SQL, APIs, or SharePoint. Participate in developing and executing test plans to help validate system functionality and data accuracy.
System Support & Documentation: Assist with troubleshooting system performance issues. Develop functional specifications for system improvements and work with technical teams on design enhancements. Create user documentation and assist with training sessions.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a point of contact for project updates, facilitate communication between users and technical teams, and provide guidance on system functionality.
Required Experience:
Experience using Power BI for reporting or analysis.
Familiarity with SQL and data concepts.
Experience with data automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python, VBA, Power Automate) is beneficial.
Understanding of business process analysis techniques.
Experience coordinating IT projects or project tasks.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to address data-related queries.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience creating documentation for users or technical teams.
