Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the operation of the technical helpdesk team by efficiently handling, troubleshooting, and managing software product defect escalations.

  • Effectively triage incoming software bugs and defects, accurately documenting issues for resolution.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams to ensure prompt investigation and resolution of identified bugs and defects.

  • Determine the root cause of issues and work alongside developers to assist in implementing fixes.

  • Assess and investigate technical support queries related to specific platform features (e.g., digital marketing tools).

  • Contribute to maintaining platform quality and reliability by supporting Business As Usual (BAU) development activities and service requests.

  • Assist with service delivery initiatives and process improvements.

  • Ensure escalated issues are reviewed promptly (target within 24 hours) and have clearly defined resolution criteria ('Definition of Done').

  • Create problem tickets for identified recurring incidents.

  • Process data requests as required (e.g., weekly data tasks).

  • Create and update internal knowledge base articles (e.g., wiki) where gaps are identified during issue assessment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL programming languages.

  • Strong ability to efficiently identify, reproduce, and prioritise reported software bugs or issues.

  • Skill in assessing the severity and impact of reported issues to determine appropriate escalation paths.

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Capability to maintain clear and detailed documentation of reported issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, as well as working autonomously when required.

  • Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet service level expectations.
